~From the blog of August 7th of the Yamagata Relief Network for Cultural Heritage~

To Whom It May Concern

With regard to the intensive cleaning operation in the summer. “Even if I am a only one person, I will carry out the cleaning operation.” Although our cleaning operations are carried out in the shade, it is not easy to do that in the outdoors in the middle summer in Yamagata. Moreover, they will use their summer holiday. By such youngster’s appeal, the intensive cleaning operation was determined to be held. “Even though I am only one person I will take part.” I want to be a person who can declare so. Simultaneously, I’m sincerely glad to meet such people.

Introduction

We haven’t received any requests about the heavy rainfall disaster in Niigata and Fukushima so far. As soon as I’ll receive it, I’ll inform you.

Over the Obon Horiday, we will hold the intensive cleaning operation in YWJC as from 16th August. The operations will go without change though, we still discuss the contents of the operation. Additionally, we will purchase the utensils for the rescue operation, and will tidy them up.

Although you might worry about the vacancies, please do not have any hesitation, the applicants are still just a few people, so we appreciate your participation. We expect that we will not refuse you because of the capacity.

This intensive cleaning operation will be carried out promoted by a woman’s stating “Even if I am the only person, I’ll do it.” As long as  someone wants to do it, our activities will continue. We say it again, we appreciate your participation.
