About this Page

We, the Network for Historical Materials, was established on 4th February 1995, approximately three week after the Hanshin Earthquake, and started as an association which worked to protect the historical documents and artifacts affected by natural disasters such as floods, typhoons, and quakes.
This page is a private page but officially recognized by Network for Historical Materials (Rekishi Shiryo Network).
All articles are based on the Homepage of the Network for Historical Materials, although Etsuko Watanabe takes full responsibility for this blog.

Etsuko Watanabe
A Member of Network for Historical Materials.
Master of History, Bachelor of Letters (Doshisha University), PgDip History (University of Essex). Used to work as an Investigation aide, Doshisha University Historical Museum, Kyoto. As from September 2012, learning in the University of Glasgow.

Leon Povey
MA International Education, (University of Bath); PgDip Japanese Studies, (University of Sheffield); BA Archaeology, (University of Exeter) . Having experience participating in some archaeological survey in Wales and Northern France.
